Kinderdijk Windmill, Netherlands

Windmills like the one seen here are the pride of Kinderdijk, a Dutch village that boasts 19 well-preserved mills dating to the mid-18th century. Visitors to the town just outside Rotterdam can take walking or biking tours of the mills or catch a canal cruise to see them up close.
