An aerial photograph taken in October 2007 shows a cluster of palm huts built by an "uncontacted" native group on the banks of the Las Piedras River in Peru's southeastern Amazon. Experts think as many as 15 isolated tribes may live in the region.

The image was captured by a group of ecologists who happened on the tribe while conducting an environmental survey of the region.
