Cemetery, Philippines

Photograph by Richard Balonglong, My Shot

Young girls offer lighted candles as part of an All Saints’ Day ritual in Sagada, a Mountain Province town in the Philippine highlands. Families who gather for the ceremony light candles or pine wood, the flames believed to bring light and warmth to the souls of departed loved ones.
