Emperor Penguin, Antarctica

Preparing to launch from the sea to the sea ice, an emperor penguin reaches maximum speed in the Ross Sea of Antarctica. Coulman Island in Antarctica is home to the world's largest emperor colony, with an estimated 50,600 adult breeding birds.
