A 3.3-feet-wide wooden bridge crosses the Sementina Valley in Ticino, Switzerland. Part of the Swiss Confederation since 1803, Ticino is the only Swiss canton lying entirely on the southern side of the Alps. It's also the only Italian-speaking canton.
