A young Buddhist monk studies in Namchi, in the Himalayan state of Sikkim. "The smoke of incense make visible bright beams of light," says the photographer, a member of our Your Shot community. "Despite the fact that I was photographing for a long time the temple and [this scene], the monk never looked at me, so deeply immersed in reading his book."
