A young boy paddles a wicker coracle on the Tungabhadra River near Hampi, India. Named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986, Hampi was once the capital of the Hindu kingdom of Vijayanagar, replete with a sprawling temple complex that is spread out over nearly ten square miles.
