Loggia Della Signoria, Florence

Photograph by Berthold Steinhilber, laif/Redux

Sculptures from the 14th to 16th centuries line the Loggia della Signoria, an open-air gallery that adjoins the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. To the left, in the Piazza della Signoria, is a copy of Michelangelo's "David." The original stood on this spot for more than 350 years until it was moved to the Galleria dell'Accademia in 1873.
