Musée d'Orsay, Paris

At Paris's Musée d'Orsay, it's hard to decide what's more spectacular: the restored beaux arts railway station or the 19th-century art within. The museum features European painting, sculpture, drawing, decorative arts, and photography made between 1848 and 1914. The main hall, seen here, is now a light-filled sculpture gallery.
