Nusa Penida, Indonesia

One of a group of three islands located off the southeast coast of Bali, Indonesia, Nusa Penida is home to pristine beaches and protected areas for threatened species, including marine turtles and the critically endangered Bali starling. Divers are drawn to its surrounding waters, which harbor manta rays and ocean sunfish.
