Elephants, Botswana

Photograph by Michael Poliza, National Geographic

A group of elephants gathers around a hillock in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Conservationists are working to protect the delta, a vast wetland wilderness that's home to free-ranging elephants, zebras, hippos, lions, buffalo, and many other animals.

The Okavango Delta is one of the stops on a National Geographic 125th anniversary private jet expedition. Follow Digital Nomad Andrew Evans on the journey >>
