Oglala Nation Pow Wow, South Dakota
Photograph by Matthew Williams, Redux
A young girl waits for the start of the annual Oglala Nation Pow Wow parade in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, a reservation outside Badlands National Park. Both ceremonial and competitive, the pow wow is a celebration of Native American culture and a stop for dancers and drum troupes traveling the pow wow circuit.
