Baja California, Mexico

A sleek and content-looking California sea lion swims among a school of fish in the turquoise waters around Los Islotes, a small island off the coast of Baja California, Mexico. A group of sea lions is called a colony, and the Los Islotes colony is said to be more than 300 noisy—and mostly friendly—seals strong.
