The emerald-colored waters of the Soča River—the favorite summertime water spot of Facebook fan Alen Turkovic—wash through the Trenta Valley in northern Slovenia. The Soča begins in the valley and flows nearly 90 miles to the Adriatic near Monfalcone, Italy.
