Socotra Cormorant, Bahrain

Photograph by Hani Bader, National Geographic Your Shot

A Socotra cormorant is captured mid-dive by photographer Hani Bader, who, "amused by their movement and flow," had been aiming to shoot jellyfish near the west coast of Bahrain. He was surprised by the cormorant's sudden visit, in search of a fish meal among the jellies.
