Spanish Steps, Rome

The Spanish Steps in Rome's Piazza di Spagna make up the longest and widest staircase in Europe. A baroque water feature called Fontana della Barcaccia, or Fountain of the Old Boat, decorates the plaza, a hangout for students, tourists, shoppers, and portrait sketchers.
