Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Athens

Greek soldiers known as Evzones stand guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Athens's Syntagma Square. Their traditional costumes consist of red beret, dark tunic in winter or red vest in summer, short white kilt over white leggings, and red wooden shoes adorned with huge pom-poms.
