Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy

Tucked into autumn-bright trees, homes have a fairy-tale view in Italy's Trentino-Alto Adige region. This area is a curious hybrid cobbled together from two disparate places: Trentino, in the south, is distinctly Italian. Alto Adige, in the north, is mainly German speaking, and is sometimes called South Tyrol.
