Endla Nature Reserve, Estonia

A summer sunrise over a bog in the Endla Nature Reserve in central Estonia colors the mist in shades of lavender and gold. The reserve comprises 10,110 hectares (39 square miles) of the larger, extensive Endla wetlands, a crucial freshwater system in Estonia, and its various mires, bogs, swamp forests, and springs support diverse plant and bird species.
