Tanji, Gambia

In the morning light on the shore of Tanji, a fishing village on the Atlantic coast of Gambia, men carry in a haul of fish from their pirogues, or dugout canoes. The catches, brought in both in the morning and afternoon, are then taken straight to market to be sold.
