Rusty Snapshot

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Chris O'DELL

This is a glimpse through a porthole of the Maheno shipwreck on Fraser Island Australia. One can almost watch as the unyielding ocean peels layers of rust off the hull. It is humbling to watch the speed with which a man-made splendor of its time can be dissolve as fast as the snap of a shutter.

Location: Fraser Island, Australia
