Kuna Generations in the San Blas Islands

Category: Travel Portraits

Photo and caption by Guylyn DeMeyere

While traveling in Panama we were privileged to go to a Kuna village in the San Blas Islands where the natives live today much as they did hundreds of years ago. They do allow a few visitors each year to share in their preserved culture. We happened upon a young boy and his grandmother grinding corn for the day.

Location: San Blas Islands, Panama
