The Flirting Centurion

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Marcos H

Rome. Mausoleum of Hadrian aka Castel Sant'Angelo. Men clad as Roman Centurions roam the surroundings, peddling themselves for a few Euros to tourists for posing with them. This particular one was blabbering volubly on his cell phone and eyeing every passing female, totally oblivious to the mood he was supposed to project. This Roman woman was not very pleased with the attention dispensed by the brave circus warrior.

Location: Rome, Castel Sant'Angelo.
