A Boy and His Crude Cottage

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by YEN-YI LEE

When I was travelling with my friend at Bandipur, a beautiful and primitive village in Nepal, I saw a small boy playing alone in front of his crude cottage. He was so cute, and we gave him a piece of chocalate as a snack. When he was looking curiously at it, this moment touched me deeply. I was even not sure if he had ever tasted a chocalate in his life.

Location: Bandipur, Nepal
