Category: Spontaneous Moments

On my first of many trips to Tokyo I set out to explore every place I could. The city was ripe for photography and I was enamored by the people and the culture. On the trip, my viewfinder rarely left my eye. Even though it was late, we explored the temples and surrounding areas. As I took pictures of the vendor stalls looking towards the Akasaka Temple, this bicyclist crossed through my frame. Normally I'd be upset over something like thus but I love the moment that was really the spirit of that place. I could never have planned that shot, so I was thankful for the spontaneity of it.
