Beached boats on the island of the Elphanta Caves

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Ron Troy

Off Mumbai, seen from the pier for visiting the Elphanta Caves in India. Shot with a Canon G9, ISO 80, Auto, 1/640th Second, 25MM, F4, hand-held. Shot has been cropped and adjusted but no major enhancement done. These beached boats were the final things seen in a crossing from Mumbai where I saw piles of garbage in the water. A beautiful place in desparate need of being cleaned up.

Location: Mumbai, India on the island of the Elphanta Caves
