Downtown in the Rose City

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Tiffany Rauchenstein

I was walking in my favorite place in Portland, the Culture district, when I looked over and noticed a mother and her daughter walking past my friend and I. I realized that they were dressed in very similar outfits and she was mentioning to her small child that they had to hurry to catch the next train, and the girl was asking why this and why that, which I thought to myself, that looked very familiar, because I used to do the same thing. So I waited for them to pass by and I took a back facing snap shot.
