Green Moray

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Kay Wilson

Green moray eels are actually blue. A yellow algae grows on their bodies making them appear green. Whilst they appear threatening the open gape enables them to 'breathe', and they are very unlikely to exhibit aggressive behavior unless harassed.

Location: Chateau Belair, St. Vincent, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
