A blustery morning in October of 2010, the dust and wind gave a orangish cast to the light. A boy barely six was setting up a basket of yellow and orange marigolds on a rickety table to sell to pilgrims. A temple dedicated to Jnaneshwar, a 13th Century saint and philosopher is located nearby. The concentration on his face as he carefully arranged the white plastic sheet to display his wares was worth capturing. As far as he was concerned there were no better flowers on earth.

Location: Alandi, Maharashtra, India
