I was taking a darkroom class in Florence and I went up to the Piazalle Michelangelo to take a few shots from the famous cityscape lookout. I saw this subject and instantly fell in love with the composition, the background, and mainly, the quirky idea that the subject was posing for a standard portrait with a scenic background yet was unconsciously posing for an image that ultimately conveys a different idea/purpose than intended by the subject. shot with a 35mm nikon, 50mm 1.4 lens. Ilford FP4 plus black&white film
Location: Florence, Italy
