The Effigy of the Jade Emperor, the "God of the Heavens" is housed in one of the most famous Pagodas of Ho Chi Minh City, affectionately named the Jade Emperor Temple. Immersed in incense smoke, Taoists come to offer prayers to the Jade Emperor, he who decides who goes to heaven and who does not.

Location: Jade Emperor Temple, Cholon (Chinatown) Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
