Bearly Dancing

Category: Outdoor Scenes

We were able to capture this moment at the end of one of our hikes in Sequoia National Park on Memorial Day 2011; when we literally almost tripped over these two bears. They were completely unaffected by their audience, just digging through the trees for food and taking a break now and again to play. I feel this picture especially, captures their innocence and playfulness. You can even see the snow flakes driving through the air as the two of them are "dancing". The crazy thing still is, these were only two of the five bears we saw in park that day!!
