Shea nuts in the courtyard of this hut complex are pounded and made into shea butter. Shea butter is a common product in rural Africa used for a variety of purposes including cooking and cosmetics. This image is a high dynamic range image made by digitally combining 3 images at various exposures to create a painterly effect.
