This was one of those once in a lifetime moments where I had to think fast, hope nobody moved and pray that the baby's father didn't attack. The Langer Monkey appeared out of nowhere as I was exploring the top floor of an Indian palace. The father suddenly arrived and handed the baby to it's mother. I frantically attached my telephoto even-though they were only 10 feet away - I wanted a closer shot and dared not approach them. I have a wonderful exposure of both mother and baby staring at me and then this loving mother's embrace became the moment to capture forever.
Location: Orchha, India - Top level of an Indian Palace on the River Detwa
