When I was in Nepal on a Habitat for Humanity trip, we had a day in Kathmandu to do sightseeing before heading up into the Himalayas to work. This little boy was selling ice cream to make money. When we asked him why he didn't have shoes on, he shrugged and told us his father doesn't have enough money for shoes.
