This picture was taken during a recent trip to the Philippines. In the rural provinces, women and kids are tasked with fetching water for drinking, cooking and bathing. I watched these kids walked a distance, carrying gallons at a time. It reminded of younger years where I had to do the same, except that the we had the pump installed at our house.
