I took this photo in the town of Apiranthos on the island of Naxos, Greece. There was a funeral in town that day so my friend and I wandered around and saw next to no one as everyone was attending the funeral. We came across this incredible old guy sitting on his stoop and he struck up a conversation with us. He spoke no English (and we speak little Greek) so we had a short funny conversation about how much we liked his shoes and went on our way. At the last minute I asked if I could take his photo and this is what I got.
