I love the power of this image and how you know just by the silhouette of her hat that it was taken in Indonesia. I never really saw locals playing at the beach and this was one of the times where I felt I caught a glimpse of their life and having fun, where most of the time I saw them working hard. Jimbaran Bay is known for their sunsets and candlelit seafood dinners on the beach and I think this woman and her child were waiting for her husband, a fisherman, to come back with his catch for the local restaurants that night.
