Symbolic landscape of the island of Skye, Scotland, an ancient volcano shaped by ice. The rugged impervious and wild mountains Black Cullin (sharp peaks of volcanic rock) in the background of unreal boundless landscape, dark and strinking view. Endless meadows, heaths, lichens, wild fjords, lochs, isolated farms scattered here and there. Sea,long beaches, lakes and ponds, the 'water under each form'. Basalt cliffs. Wind.. For the Vikings this was the island of the clouds. Dramatic scenery and empty. A place from the first day of creation.
