The Neverending Dunes

Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Virag Nanavati

This was my first photography expedition. I shot at various locations for several days, but this picture overwhelmingly remained the best of the ones I captured. A couple of miles of sifting through the dunes got me here. When I stood atop this sand dune, I was in awe of this spectacular natural composition that lay before my eyes. What you see is my best attempt of capturing it in a panoramic picture.

Location: Mesquite Sand Dunes, Death Valley National Park
