War Camp

Category: Sense of Place

November 6, 2011 Zuccotti Park, Wall Street, NYC I spent an entire day and night in the park at the height of the protests. I noticed this homeless woman sleeping in the middle of an ocean of tents and couldn't help seeing the symbolism of it all: The Red, White, and Blue colors with the Stars and Stripes to match; the stars is the form of an anarchist symbol and the stripes in the form of bars with the 99% locked behind it.

Location: Wall Street, New York City
