I shot this sea gull cruising by at high speed in the center of the city of Malmoe, south Sweden. I had just fitted a telephoto lens on my camera and I was fortunate to capture the bird as it quietly flew by. I enjoy placing objects in front of the lens so as to add depth; in this picture there are branches to be found just in front of my lens, but they do not obscure the actual sea gull, which I like. I also thought the feathers looked immaculate here. As a spur of the moment shot, I place this picture in the Spontaneous Moments category.
