Photo and caption by Rhian Williams
While living in Havana, Cuba, I went traveling to the far East to see Santiago de Cuba and area. I took the breathtakingly scenic and winding "La Farola" up and down to the secluded gem, Baracoa. This town is the oldest in Cuba, and in my opinion the most beautiful. This photo was taken on my way back from a local beach and the scene immediately caught my eye, with the layout and sparsity of the palms juxtaposed with the rich lush border just beyond.
