Category: Outdoor Scenes

Photo and caption by Kiat Teo

It was a hot burning afternoon of the summer when we entered the Park in the 4x4 jeep. The anxiety and excitement had no bounds. Then a sudden alarm calls given by the spotted deer, which gives signs of a carnivore around, Un-mistakenly; as the jeep making a deep turn that the driver took and what we saw was unbelievable. The huge, beautiful predator, the King of the jungle was seating amidst the road. It’s eyes looking at us then looking towards the sky. I slowly put a bean bag on the open jeep and position my 70-200mm zoom lens to snap away the majestic & elusive animal.

Location: Ranthambohr National Park in the eastern Rajasthan of India
