Plaine du Nord, the festival of St. Jacque the catholic saint which represents Ogou Feray the Vodou God of War. After fighting in the mud pit over the hoofs and head of a sacrificed bull, the winner who takes control proudly places the severed head on top of his own as a symbol of loyalty to the god.
