I boarded the boat from Monterey Bay, California for the journey to the ‘whale-watching zone’ of Pacific Ocean and it took about an hour from Monterey coast. Upon arrival, we waited for about 15 minutes but there was no sign of whale. Instead there were pods of California sea lion (Zalophus californianus) hunting for starfish. The water was calm and these wild seals in the deep blue ocean were magnificent. I took many pictures. I couldn’t resist it. The combination of this wildlife and deep blue water were simply gorgeous.
