Photo and caption by yair gazitt

A view inside Heri Es Souani granary built partially underground around 700 ACE, in the old part of Meknes, Morocco to keep grain dry and cool. The light emphasizes the labyrinth nature of the place giving it an appearance of an abstract painting. Photo was taken with a Lumix Panasonic DMC-FZ30 camera equipped with a 35-420 zoom lenses. Not edited.

Location: Menkes Morocco
