Lonely Waters

Category: Sense of Place

Photo and caption by Raghunath Rajaram

A beautiful moment of solitude, as a lone fisherman enters the effulgent path created by the shimmering reflections of the rising sun. Technical Details: I spot metered on the reflections to intentionally underexpose the image and give it an eerie moonlit feel. Camera: Nikon D300s Lens: Nikkor 50mm f1.8 Shutter Speed: 1/4000 Aperture: f16 ISO: 200 Metering: Spot

Location: Lake Vembanad, Allapuzha (Alleppey), Kerala, India.
