Evening Canal Boat, Bangkok

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Photo and caption by Timothy Norris

The local canal boats race across Bangkok, stopping at numerous spots to let the locals compute into and from the city center. The ticket takers stand on the side of the boat and hold on to a rope tied the length of it. One evening as I returned from visiting the Jim Thompson House, I hung out over the edge of the boat and snapped a series of photos taking advantage of the movement and the light.

Location: Bangkok, Thailand
