The Piri Piri Dance

Category: Spontaneous Moments

Nearing the end of a long and wonderful journey overland from Nairobi to Cape Town, I stopped to relax for a week on Tofo Beach. One afternoon I noticed this group of boys standing on a jetty of rocks casting fantastic shadows on this incredible yellow sand. They danced and laughed as I clicked away. I call it "The Piri Piri Dance" after a local favorite hot pepper.

Location: Tofo, Mozambique
